ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM

The Sexology In Practice Symposium (SIPS) is a boutique learning event with a focus on enhancing the practice of professionals working in the area of sexology. SIPS provides the opportunity to come together and exchange ideas, share practice challenges, network and meet new colleagues, and learn from an exciting array of local and international sexology professionals.

This year, SIPS brings together a range of national and international practitioners to share their expertise and wisdom across a wide range of areas. With a focus on improving knowledge and practical skills, these sessions have been grouped into two concurrent streams: Psychosexual Therapy and Sexuality Education. However, all kinds of professionals will benefit from the content, with significant crossover in how we understand issues, educate clients and participants, improve our practice, and contribute to social justice and change. #SIPS2022

Registration provides access to the online symposium including:

  • Live access to all 17 presentations
  • 16 hours of continuing professional development
  • 2 concurrent streams of content for Therapy and Education
  • 90 day access to recordings of all presentations
  • Closed Captions available on all streams



REGISTRATION RATES

There are a number of different registration options for this year's Sexology In Practice Symposium. Please ensure you purchase the correct ticket. Any ticket purchases without evidence of membership or student status will result in cancellation without refund.

Registration Option 1: Non-Member (General) = $470

This option is available for anyone to purchase.

Registration Option 2: Non-Member (Student) = $420

This option is available for current students at a recognised academic institution. You will need to upload evidence of enrolment.

Registration Option 3: SAS Member (General) = $320

This option is available to current Members of the Society of Australian Sexologists. You will need to enter the code emailed to you to authorise this registration option. 

Registration Option 4: SAS Member (Student) - $280

This option is available to current Student Members of the Society of Australian Sexologists. You will need to enter the code emailed to you to authorise this registration option. 


PROGRAMME

The Sexology In Practice Symposium will run over two days and two concurrent streams. You can move in and out of presentations and streams to make sure you don't miss the things you want to see. You will also receive 90 days access to the recordings to catch up on all the presentations you missed the first time round.
