Cath Hakanson believes that if kids can talk to their parents about sex, they can talk to them about anything. And that makes for better relationships, happier families and safer kids who are equipped to make smart sexual decisions.

The founder of Sex Ed Rescue and Sex Ed Shop, Cath’s on a mission to empower parents with the tools and confidence to make sex education less cringy and more comfortable. Her approach simplifies sex ed, focusing on age-appropriate facts and honesty, tailored to each family’s values and beliefs.

A globally renowned sex educator, an author and an AuDHD mother of two neurodivergent children, Cath has helped over 1,000,000 people around the world teach their kids about sex, bodies, gender and relationships. Her simple, straightforward resources tackle every topic from porn to pleasure, gender identity to body diversity, masturbation to consent.

Bringing 25+ years experience as a qualified sex educator, Cath is a warm, down to earth, relatable expert who can respond to even the wildest sex ed questions with the same confidence, comfort and honesty she teaches parents worldwide.
