The Society of Australian Sexologists are excited to present a workshop by Dr Barry McCarthy, recipient of the Masters and Johnson award for lifetime contributions to the sexuality field, 2016.

Dr McCarthy, is a clinical psychologist, marital and sex therapist, and professor of psychology at American University. His clinical expertise focused on integrating sex therapy strategies and techniques into individual and couple therapy, assessment and treatment of sexual problems and sexual desire disorders.

As a leading expert in this field, Dr McCarthy has presented over 350 workshops around the world, published over 100 professional articles, 26 book chapters, and co-authored 14 books, including: Rekindling Desire (3rd. edition), Enhancing Couple Sexuality: Creating an Intimate and Erotic Bond, Finding Your Sexual Voice: Celebrating Female Sexuality, Sex Made Simple, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Sexual Dysfunction, Sexual Awareness (5th edition), Therapy with Men After Sixty.

Dr. McCarthy will be presenting two workshops for the Society, Perth (7/3/2020) and Melbourne (14/3/2020).
