The regular student networking meeting is an opportunity to connect with your peers, discuss opportunities and challenges, as well as meet and hear from leaders in the field.
The speaker for the November meeting is Pablo Navarro.
Pablo is a Counselling Psychologist and Clinical Psychosexual Therapist with more than 15 years’ experience working with adults and young people of all abilities and identities. He has worked in areas such as family services, employment assistance, LGBTIQA+ advocacy, chronic illness management, e-mental health, clinical education, and private practice.
In his sex therapy practice, Pablo is a sex-positive, kink, poly and LGBTIQA+ friendly practitioner and works with individuals across a variety of areas, such as:
· Sex, gender and sexuality education
· Relationship diversity (e.g. polyamory, ethical nonmonogamy)
· Sexual shame and disgust
· Sex following chronic illness or loss of ability
· Gender role strain
· Sexual intimacy and communication
· Sexual function issues
· Sex-related ‘addiction’
· Sexual and gender identity affirmation
