The Australian National Survey of Secondary Students and Sexual Health (SSASH) Survey 2021/22 and potential implications for current sex educators and sexologists
Jennifer Power is Associate Professor and Principal Research Fellow at the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society. She was the principal researcher on the 7th SSASH 21/22 survey.
The survey is a national study exploring the sexual health and well-being of school-age young people in Australia. The study explores young people’s experiences of sex, relationships, sexual health and school-based relationships and sexuality education (RSE).
Jennifer will discuss the survey’s findings, the changes in findings since the previous survey in 2018 and potential implications for sexologists and sex educators.
