Join SAS NSW for a Professional Development session with Susan Wilford, the Clinical Lead Nurse for the South Eastern Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic. Susan will explore;

  • Persistent pelvic pain, women's health, and the challenges faced in the field;
  • Current best practice / management options - why holistic is best;
  • The importance of sexual health education in the Pelvic Pain space.
About Susan:

Susan has been a Registered Nurse for 22 years, and a Registered Midwife for 18 years. She has worked in three countries in both women's health and perinatal services. Susan has worked in sexual health and cervical screening clinics, and consulted for not-for-profit groups, most recently contributing to research into effectiveness of shelters for women escaping violence. In 2022 she contributed to the creation of a multilingual perinatal care app; MamaTalk. Susan is the Clinical Lead for government-funded South Eastern Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic.
