Dr. Armin Ariana is a sexologist and clinical psychosexual therapist. He received his Doctorate in Medicine (MD) in 2002. After a few years of general practice, he joined Griffith University in 2006 to pursue his medical education and research dreams, which awarded him with a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in 2011. Following his passion for learning and understanding more about mind and body, he studied Psychology (GradDipPsych - Monash ) and Sexology (MMed - The University of Sydney).

Armin is a clinical sex therapist in Brisbane and Gold Coast, QLD. He is also available to offer his service online. In addition, Armin is an Associate Professor in Medical Education at the School of Medicine Griffith University, a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA - UK) and an academic researcher with a particular interest in human sexuality, focusing on oro-genital sexual behaviour, and LGBTQIA+ Health.

He is an accredited clinical psychosexual therapist and a member of the Society of Australian Sexologists Ltd (SAS). He adheres to the Society’s Code of Ethics and Practice. He is also a registered top-level recognised member of the Australian Counselling Association Inc. (MACA Level 4), a full member of the International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM) and the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM).

Armin works with individuals and couples of any sexual orientation on a short or long-term basis. He works with clients to recognise what their issues really mean to them and then uses this information to help them create a healthier sexual life and relationship going forward.
