Profile:
Dr Armin Ariana is a sexologist, psychosexual therapist and sexual health counsellor. He received a Master of Medicine specializing in Sexual Health, HIV and STIs from the University of Sydney and works as a sex therapist in Gold Coast, QLD. He is an Accredited Psychosexual Therapist Member of the Society of Australian Sexologists Ltd (SAS). He adheres to the Society’s Code of Ethics and Practice. He is also a registered member at level 3 with the Australian Counselling Association Inc. (MACA), a full member of the International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM) and the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM).
Armin is a Senior Lecturer in Medical Education at Griffith University, School of Medicine. He received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2002, and after few years of general practice, joined Griffith University in 2006 to pursue his dreams in Medical Research which awarded him with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2011. Currently, his main research interests are in the areas of sexuality with a focus on oro-genital sexual practice, oral health and oral cancer.
